This couple's wedding was a true Texas affair, with family flying in from all over the country to experience the Lone Star State's unique charm. The bride’s family came in from California and had a great time at the wedding at SCR, and lodging at the nearby Wildcatter Ranch and Resort. The couple chose Sparrow Creek Ranch as their venue, a stunning location nestled amidst the rolling hills of the Palo Pinto Mountains with stunning fields of wildflowers in June. They opted for an intimate ceremony on the Hill Top site.

The June wedding date was perfect timing, coinciding with North Texas' peak wildflower season. The fields surrounding the ranch were ablaze with color, providing the perfect backdrop for the couple's wedding photos. The couple's guests were treated to a true Texas experience, enjoying delicious food, lively music, and mingling under the warm Texas sun. It was an unforgettable wedding, filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of the Texas wildflowers.

INTIMATE WEDDINGS AT SPARROW CREEK RANCH

Even though the SCR’s Barn can host up to 200 guests, we often host intimate weddings, micro-weddings, Sunday weddings, and more in the 30-70 guest range. We love hosting these smaller events and other ways to make the barn feel perfect for large or small weddings. The way the bride chose to space out the tables and use the farm tables for guests perfectly farmed the dance floor and kept the space from feeling too large. Having their sweetheart table singled out, rather than within a head table, also gave them more reasons to use up more space for wedding party tables, again using the space perfectly for an intimate wedding.
