Weekday Wedding for Romantic and Affordable Intimate Wedding | Hill Country Micro Wedding

What an absolutely magical wedding venue! I booked Sparrow Creek Ranch out of state and was so happy when I saw it in person, it was better than the photos. Wouldn’t have changed a thing, the barn is oozing romance and warmth and love. Plus, everything was laid out for us and as stress free as possible. Thank you so much! LUCILE, WEDNESDAY WEDDING 2023

Micro-wedding for 25 guests at Sparrow Creek Ranch with bride and groom sitting at the sweetheart table cheersing!

Lucile and Scott married on 2.22.23, on a perfect February Wednesday!

Lucile and Scott fell in love with SCR from out of state! They booked Sparrow Creek Ranch from out of state and didn’t see it in person until a few weeks before their wedding day! We help our couples with helpful resources to make the planning as stress-free as possible for our out-of-state couples!

Lucile and Scott chose to have a small and intimate wedding on a Wednesday afternoon. The weather was a bit windy, but the temperature was perfect — February is often our favorite Texas month of the year for weddings! There were only about 25 guests, which gave the wedding a very special and personal feel.

This wedding was a beautiful and memorable celebration of love. It was a perfect example of how a small and intimate wedding can be just as special as a large and elaborate one.

CEREMONY

The ceremony at 3:30 pm was the perfect time for this sweet ceremony. Winter weddings have earlier ceremonies; year-round ceremonies outdoors are recommended 2 hours before sunset. Wheather a couple is doing a first look or not and the size of family photo lists after the ceremony also impact that exact ceremony time. With a weekday wedding, these two wanted to have golden hour photos after the ceremony and an early celebration so guests could make it home in time to relax and resume work the next day if needed.

RECEPTION - MUSICAL CHAIRS & PIZZA!

The bride and groom spent some time relaxing in the bridal suite before the ceremony. The father of the groom went to get pizza for everyone, which was a fun and unexpected touch. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a delicious slice of pizza and then, there were a few speeches, parent dances, and the cake-cutting. The evening ended with a fun game of musical chairs. If you are looking for fun activities for a small group —- musical chairs might just be the tjing!
