A Graphic Designer’s Custom Blue and White Chinoiserie Wedding | Sparrow Creek Ranch

The Art of the Custom Wedding: Branding Your Big Day

Cait and Quent’s stunning blue wedding at Sparrow Creek! We can’t wait to share this one full of Cait’s design for her big day.

When your bride is a talented graphic designer, you know the details are going to be next-level—and this wedding was practically a masterclass in custom design! Our bride didn't just pick a theme; she branded her wedding, creating her very own elegant monogram that appeared on everything from the invitations to the cocktail napkins.

Every single element, from the signage to the place settings, was custom-made and beautiful. It was a sophisticated and incredibly personal approach to wedding planning, showing that treating your wedding like a special launch event results in a celebration that is uniquely, unmistakably yours.

The Blue and White Pottery Hunt: A Year of Passionate Collecting

The heart of this design was the stunning collection of blue and white Chinoiserie pottery. This wasn't a rental job; the bride, with the help of an estate sale expert, spent an entire year diligently searching for and curating the perfect collection of vases and vessels.

The result was a dramatic display of classic elegance and texture that felt collected and intentional, not generic. This dedication to finding the perfect pieces gave the reception a layered, timeless look, proving that a thoughtful passion project can be the most beautiful form of wedding decor.

Secret Garden Style Wedding: The Hydrangea and Chinoiserie Pairing

To bring the whole design to life and achieve that lush "Secret Garden" wedding feel, the floral design was pure genius. The classic blue and white hydrangeas were used beautifully to complement the pottery, adding incredible volume and soft texture. These big, gorgeous blooms showed off the patterns and shapes of the collected Chinoiserie vases, creating sophisticated, playful tablescapes.

It was the perfect blend of formality and fun, proving that volume and careful color-matching (like using the flowers to mirror the blue and white patterns) is the key to achieving that full, romantic garden atmosphere.
