While we see nearly 100,000 images of Sparrow Creek Ranch every single year, every so often a gallery comes across our desk that stops us in our tracks. This wedding was one of those rare moments. After 14 years of hosting celebrations on these 150 acres, it is incredibly rare to see a photographer capture a "first"—a perspective or a play on light that I’ve truly never seen before. This team is in a class all their own; their use of color is nothing short of amazing, and their ability to find unique, "never-before-captured" angles in a familiar space is a testament to their incredible talent. They didn't just document a wedding; they reimagined the ranch, proving that pairing a world-class photographer with the SCR landscape yields a truly work of art.

When you look at the Lehrer wedding gallery, you can’t help but gush over the richness of the colors and that glowing light!! Having this stunning type of photography doesn’t just take photography skills (which this team has in abundance)—it is also made possible by vendors working in harmony. In this case, having our in-house coordinator, Vicki, and our long-time favorite, The Montgomery’s Photo + Film, meant the timeline was ON POINT!

The Bridal Loft - Your Fresh Space for photos!
All brides want are getting-ready photos! And photos with mom and dad and wedding party — usually in a space that isn’t where the ceremony or reception is, so their wedding day gallery is full of beautiful, but different spaces! That’s where SCR’s Bridal Loft comes in! This natural light-filled space is stunning, with unique reused windows, floors, and wooden details, ensuring each photo is full of distinctive detail.
Downstairs, SCR’s Bridal Suite is where the hair and makeup happen, and all the chaos of bags, makeup, and hair tools is scattered around. Once the girls are ready for the photos, everyone heads upstairs for a clean, fresh space (without heaps of bags!).
And the porch off The Loft provides SHADE with all the natural light and trees every photographer is looking for on a wedding day! When the sun is still up (all day), photos can be harsh, but this space dreams come true with the perfect fix - outside but totally covered!
Romantic Ranch Wedding Reception
Vicki, the IHC, worked hard to bring Grayson’s vision to life at the reception. Grayson loved the idea of “caterpillar tables,” but with her guest count and the space, it wouldn’t work exactly. Caterpillar tables take up a lot of space and reduce the number of people per table, so fewer guests and more tables. So Vicki blended it with rounds and 6 ft mixed together to create a really unique and beautiful layout!
The beautiful color scheme for this wedding was gorgeous in the space! Grayson’s bridesmaids' dresses, tablecloths, and bows on chairs were all a rich chocolate brown. To our surprise, we haven’t seen that very often at SCR! And wow, it’s so pretty in the space! The brown brings in a rich tone, which is then brightened with lots of greenery and white flowers, and finished with gold details. This mix of colors is one we hope to see again!
